Hi everybody. How are you all doing? I'm doing fair. I've been very sick lately. Went to a blind school a month ago, and was there for a week. HAD A BLAST, but due to the cold weather, and the environment change, I GOT VERY VERY SICK. I'm still trying to recover from the ilness, but, I'm starting to get better, however my secretions are very very thick, and I'm trying to deal with them with my suction machine. So how are you all doing?\

LONG TIME NO SEE!!!!!
Hi. Its me. I haven't been on, due to the fact my computer wouldn't let me get on the blog. LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of things have happened. surgeries, hospital stays, and lots and lots of other things. How are you all doing?
I'm doing well. I can finally breathe through both sides of my nose, after many surgeries. I have my own pulse oximeter. Its a Nellcor N-100, and it's the 5 button series. Now that I have it, I am monitoring myself continuously. I'm VERY VERY Glad I have it, because I was really getting desperate. I've seen some very abnormal things, and one recently. I've seen abnormal things like,
1. out of the blue desaturations.
2. PVCs.
3. ABNORMAL BEATS, like heart rate skips, and the heart rate increases for no apparent reason.
4. RECENTLY, my heart rate is very very low in the morning. 20s and 30s. NOT GOOD!!!! I also have my own ventilator which is a Non-Invasive ventilator. A RESPIRONICS CPAP machine!!!!! I have the pressure set to high. I have it set between 15, and 20. Mainly at 18.
HMMMMMMMMM:
I see its time for a lesson.
WHAT IS CPAP????
CPAP is short for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure.
Its used in the hospital to keep airways open so a patient can breathe. It puts positive pressure in the airways keeping open while the patient breathes for his/herself. It's used in the hospitals on patients who can breathe, but who's airways collapse/close easly, On babies who are coming off the ventilator, on people who have OSA in the home. OSA is short for (OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEA). I have OSA in a minor form. Its a long story, but that's what the sleep study showed, but I KNOW for a fact that I have it A LOT worse than that.
Anyhow, how are you all doing? This is to all those commenters of the post, "COUGH ASSIST." I really appreciate your nice comments.

Hi. NO LONG NO SEE!!
How are you all doing? I need to update my blog more often. I just want to let you know that I had surgery on August 27, to remove scar tissue from my nose. It hasn't gone well at all. I'm having even more thick secretions, and my right nostril is completely blocked. Most likely my Dr. is going to have to put a stent into my nose. My health is deteriorating lung wise.and I'm having trouble with other parts of my body. I've been in and out of the hospital a lot with health problems, and really can't stay away from the Drs. I'm still trying to get a pulse ox but its not going too well. I AM DESPERATE for a pulse due to the fact that I LOVE THEM, and amm absolutely obcessed with them. They are awsome. I love them because I've been around them all my life. I need one to monitor my lung disorder progression. My lungs are deteriorating quickly, and I am requiring more frequent deep suctioning which is not pleasant AT ALL!!!!
My health has been very very poor in other words and I don't know what I can do, but I'm trying to stay strong. I may be terminal, but it could be worse.

Health issues.
Hi.
How are you all doing?
I am not doing too well. I'm having some bad health issues. Lots of snot, and stuff, and my hip is really having a BAD day.
If you read, well I had to have surgery. I had to stay overnight in the hospital, and was VERY SICK.
Not only did they take bone marrow out of my hip, and put it in my fistula, that was in my mouth, but they pulled six teeth out.
The worst part was, (I WOKE UP WITH THE BREATHING TUBE IN MY MOUTH.
IT WAS NOT PRETTY.
It was painful, and I would rather not talk about it, because it freaks me out when things happen like that.
But, yeah.
I stayed overnight, and the nurses were VERY VERY VERY VERY nice.
An RT even brought an oscillatory ventilator in just because of my desperate plea.
I woke up, and I went home the next day about 5:00-6:00.
It was a long day, and I had to go home with an IV like device in my HIP.
It was removed by my mother that Munday morning, because It hurt, and was coming out.
I woke up, and there was BLOOD EVERYWHERE.
It scared me A LITTLE BIT more than half to death.
Of corse, I woke up from a creepy dream as well.
The medications were on, were causing that.
Right now i'm just sitting here.
I cannot walk, bccause it just hurts TOOOOOOOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Emma Mae the person I wrote about in my blog was layed to rest Friday morning.
PLEASE pray for the family.
Thank you.
I need to go, and suction myself out for I don't know the how manyith time.
Probably the 160th time.
I have done it A LOOOOOT TODAY.

Hip pain, School, and my mother.
Hi.
How are you all?
I just took down the trash cans. Three. I have to do it every week, except last week, and the week before, cause i was recovering from my surgery.
Well, I did it today. I still am recovering from my surgery, but my sister said I had to do it. I did it, and my hip hurts BADLY. I have school tonight, and tomorrow an hour away from where I live at a lady's house. I take braille there.
I cannot read very little print, and braille, helps me write sence I cannot write with a pen or a pencil.
Well, anyhow, that's where i am going tonight and tomorrow.
My Dad works at an appartment complex. Well, my Dad, and my Mom. My Mom usually takes me to school, cause the appartment is where we stay on Thursday nights. She just works while I'm gone from 2:30 to 8:00 on Thursday nights, and on Friday mornings she works while I'm gone from 8:30 to around 1:00 or maybe even 1:30.
Well, my Dad is taking me. My mom had to go watch my older brother's two children, so she is gone. I miss her a LOT. She is gone from Tusday, and she will come back tonight.
She left Tusday morning.
Anyhow, I will go, and learn, and she is coming tonight so I won't see her, but when I get home tomorrow I will see her.

P.S. My teacher is VERY NICE. She has a computer, and I get on her's for about an hour on Thursday nights, and Fridays, and I watch YouTube videos. Her house is echoy, so I like the way videos with medical equipment like pulse oximeters beeping echoes through the house. I like that. It really is cool.
I pretend i'm hooked up to that stuff.
OH YEEEeAH.
oh, and the appartment i stay in, has lots of my medicines, and my medical equipment, so I use it there.
I even have a CPAP circuit I stole from my dad, and I place that around my neck, and pretend I have a tracheostomy, and am on a ventilator. I LOOOOOOOOOVE THAT. hahahahahahahahaha I do not do it too tight. I sleep with it on all night while I'm there.

I'm recovering from my bone graph which took place on April 30th, 2009. I stayed one night in the hospital.
Well, what really needs to be talked about is how I have not blogged in a while.
I mean, I'm in a lot right now. Yesterday I got an E-Mail from Momoftwinsplus1.
It was very heartbreaking message, and it really made me sad for the rest of the day.
I have been sending her message out to a lot of people.

Ok so I am not in a very good mood at all today. Today is a very bad day. Everyone is ok here, Emma is fine, girls are fine, but my heart is broken.
1st I got hailed on, on the way to school this morning to drop Derek off. That hurt!
Then I get home and read that Kayleigh that girl that I asked for prayers on, at Emmas blog passed away yesterday.
Then a bit ago my friend Cristina called me. Her daughter Emma Mae died yesterday. I think I have told you about her, but not sure. She is my Emma's best friend ever. They live in IL so we only know them offline.
Emma Mae had spina bifida. feeding tube and had to use a urinary cath.
She stopped breathing in the car and suffered severe brain and organ damage and they decided to just let her go, since the damage was so bad and she would never live off of machines.
I am heartbroken. Jay, the boy I told you about is good friends with Emma Mae too so I know when he gets home from school he will be devestated by the news.
I have been so upset all day, I havent even taken a shower or eaten lunch yet. Emma Mae was a very dear little girl, only 3 years old and precious as can be, her picture hangs in my house and I loved her dearly.
Pray for her parents Peter, and her little brother and also for Jay.
Jay is a kid and he is a fighter.
He's not a baby, and he is a young boy.
I'm not going to mention his age.
I just don't want to do that for safety purposes.
But, he has CP, and he and Lori are great friends.
He is such a fighter from what Lori has told me.
So, PLEASE help us and pray for him as well.
He knows Emma Mae as you read in the message.

Update on my condition.
Well, I will require a surgery to fix the right nostril in my nose.
You see, scar tissure has formed, and there is no air again in my right nostril.
The Drs. are going to order some tests before they do the surgery, and they said It will NOT most likely be nearly as major as the other surgery was.
But he doesn't want to do the surgery right now, because he wants me to heal up around my nose near the scar tissue, because if he just does it right now, the scar tissue will just deveop really quickly, and that will require more surgery.
So far, I have had four surgeries this year.
Its awfully scarey, and VERY destraughtful, but I am given hope by God.
Lori who is my friend on YouTube, has absolutely been a GREAT HELP.
She has been praying for me, and once even told her church to pray for me.
It was when i was sick in the hospital one time.
But I just want to let you know about everything.
ESPECIALLY what is going on with Lori's family.
PLEASE say some prayers for these families.
They are really suffering, and really need LOTS of them.
